St. Malachy prophecy is MALARKEY? Peter the Roman Improbable.

St. Malachy ‘Prophecy of the Popes’ with its 112 mottos, the first applying to Celestine II (#166) [1143-1144], is much followed with many, many people around the world totally convinced that the next pope will call himself 'Peter the Roman' -- even if that signifies the fall of Rome.

Independent of subjective interpretations of the mottos there are demonstrable, incontrovertible errors in how the 112 mottos are mapped onto the popes and antipopes.

The sequence was BROKE very early on ... actually by the 9th motto!

This article explains why we can't take this supposed prophecy seriously because it is BROKE.

Why the prophecy fails

Thank you.

Jesus Christ has raised me from the dead to the office of Peter the Roman. I am the resurrected Prophet of the Most High, St. John the Baptist, whom Jesus Christ called "the Elias who was to come". Greetings in the Resurrected Christ!
